Whether you’re expecting a refund, being reviewed by the ATO, or needing to fix an error, here’s what you need to know.

1. How long does it take to receive my refund?

The ATO usually processes returns within two weeks, but delays are common—especially during tax season.

Your refund might be delayed if:

  • You made a mistake·
  • You have an outstanding debt
  • The ATO is doing additional checks

No need to panic. Many errors can be fixed after lodging.

You can request a correction via the ATO or speak to your RJS accountant. Acting quickly helps reduce interest and penalties.

3. Can I track my tax return?

Yes. If you lodged through RJS, we’ll keep you updated. You can also check the ATO portal:

4. When should I contact RJS?
